How to inform the police if you suspect sexual abuse against children abroad

If you are abroad and suspect that children are being abused there, it is essential to tip-off the police as soon as possible. Up-dated information is crucial to be able to work with the case efficiently. If a long time has passed between the incident and the time we get the tip-off, it hampers the investigation.

Please leave as detailed information as possible about the following:

  • Why the suspicion arouse
  • The molested child
  • The suspect. Describe the person and if possible, give us personal data
  • Place of the event. Please state the town, locality, hotel etc…
  • Time of the event. State the day and the time of the day
  • Are there other witnesses of this event?

You may tip-off the Police anonymously, but it is of great value to the Police if we can contact you to ask you further questions if needed. We are also grateful if you could send us pictures of the suspect(s) and/or the involved child(ren).

Please contact the Police. Do not forget to contact local Police as well.
