Have the Following Information Available
- Personal identification number if you are a Swedish citizen, otherwise state the date of birth of the person making the report

- Insurance companies.
- Production number, frame number, IMEI number etc. of the goods that have been lost or stolen.
- Time and place of crime, as exactly as possible.

A telephone report is appropriate for:
- Theft of bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles and cars.
- Burglaries into cellars, attics, garages and storerooms.
- Pocket-picking
- Lost or missing goods
- Fraud
- Vandalism and graffiti.
Visit the Nearest Police Station in connection with Serious Crimes
If you have been subject to assault, unlawful threat or other serious crimes, you should go to a police station in person. The possibility of solving the crime will increase if leads and injuries are documented at the personal visit.
Medical Examination in connection with Sex Crimes and Aggravated Violence
If you have been subject to a sexual crime or a serious violent crime, a medical examination should be made promptly. Clothes worn at the time of the crime should be kept and not washed. Keep in mind that the police sometimes need to make an examination of the scene of the crime, so be careful and do not touch anything, unless necessary.
Make a Report as Soon as Possible
